Do we need a permit or landlord approval to add a booth to our clinic?

In most municipalities, no permit. Quiet Cabins are modular furniture on industrial casters, not permanent construction, so they typically do not require building permits the way a walled-in room would. Because it is furniture and not a leasehold improvement, most leases do not require landlord consent either, and your compliance pack includes the classification details to share with your landlord if they ask.

Is it actually private enough for patient conversations?

Yes. Quiet Cabins reduce sound by 30 dB, which keeps a normal speaking voice inside the room instead of drifting into your waiting area. That is the point of the product: results conversations, therapy sessions, and phone calls about health information happen behind a real acoustic barrier, not a thin wall or a white-noise machine.

Can someone sit in it comfortably for a full 50 minute session?

Yes. Every booth has built-in ventilation that continuously exchanges air, plus interior lighting, so it stays comfortable through a full therapy session or back-to-back telehealth appointments. A private room you cannot sit in for an hour is not a private room, so this is one of the first things we engineered for.

Will patients feel watched in a glass booth?

They do not have to. Frosted and fully wrapped panel options give patients visual privacy along with acoustic privacy, so the booth reads as a private room in your clinic rather than a display case. Many clinics keep clear glass for staff areas and frost the patient-facing rooms.

Does it need special wiring or an electrician?

No. Every booth plugs into a standard 120V wall outlet and comes with UL and electrical certifications, which are included in your compliance pack. Interior power, lighting, and ventilation all run off that single plug, so there is no electrical work in your clinic.
